BIST Primary is a warm, vibrant and welcoming school where learning is at the heart of everything we do. We provide a safe, secure and happy environment where students from around sixty nationalities learn in an atmosphere of mutual respect and international mindedness.

Early Years

Reception (Age 4)

A joyful and secure start to school life through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.

Our Reception class provides a warm, stimulating environment designed for children aged four. Learning is planned around the Characteristics of Effective Learning — play, explore, investigate, create, think critically and develop resilience.

Through child-initiated play, guided learning, stories and hands-on experiences, children develop confidence, independence, creativity and strong social skills.
